Azerbaijan’s Economic Council approves key measures to drive tourism

On May 8, Prime Minister Ali Asadov chaired a meeting of Azerbaijan’s Economic Council.
The agenda featured detailed discussions of the current situation and challenges, as well as prospects for development in tourism sector, the key priority measures for expanding the tourism market and boosting tourism, as well as current economic issues.
Report on the agenda item was presented by Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev. Members of the Economic Council and invited guests held extensive discussions on the issues proposed.
In conclusion, the meeting participants adopted decisions on the development of tourism sector, with instructions given to the relevant bodies.
