AZERI COMPANY SINAM WINS TENDER IN Kyrgyzstan
Baku, June 24 (AZERTAC). An Azerbaijan company SINAM has won a tender in Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan has received a grant from Asian Development Bank for Tax Administration Reform and Modernization Project, aimed at financing the acquisition of equipment and software to develop a central database and management information system for the State Committee for Taxes and Collections (SCTC) and a development of a communication infrastructure to link the central database to tax offices.
As the "Employer" STS invited all interested IT software companies to the bidding to be conducted under the following scope and procedures.
The tax administration software to be developed should had have the modules for tax payer registration, revenue accounting, return processing, audit, enforced collection, appeals, third party information and enhanced STS web site.
The qualifications of the software vendor to participate in the bidding are, among others: is registered in an ADB member country; had minimum average business turnover of US$3 million during 2007-2009; has cash flow capacity of US$400,000; has ISO9001 certification for software development business; had at least two contracts for similar IT software development, each valued US$ 2 million or more, during 2005-2009; and can engage Russian speaking software engineers or programmers in the proposed team.
This is a triumph of the Azerbaijan Company from the standpoint of development of Azeri private sector overseas, in particular, in Central Asia.
