Azeri FM visits Moscow
Moscow, July 18 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov is visiting Moscow. As part of his visit the Azeri FM met his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
Speaking to a joint news conference following the meeting, Mammadyarov said they discussed a wide range of issues from the bilateral relations to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Mammadyarov said: “We believe that there is a progress in negotiations and we are constantly moving to the limit when everybody understands that the current situation is not satisfactory to anyone, including our neighbors,” Mammadyarov said.
The Russian FM said: “Russia helps the conflict parties search solution together with the United States and France within the framework of OSCE.”
He also said Mammadyarov communicated the Azerbaijani President`s response to a proposal of the Russian leader on Karabakh during his visit to Moscow.
At the meeting the two ministers exchanged diplomas about ratification of the agreement on state border between Russia and Azerbaijan.
'We stated high development rate in all spheres which is initiated by the presidents of the two countries,' Lavrov told the joint news conference.
“The signed agreements create favorable conditions for our regional cooperation in all spheres,” the Russian FM added.
