Azeri literature corner to be opened in Tajikistan

Baku, August 16 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani literature corner will be opened in Bactria International Cultural Center in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

According to Azerbaijan Embassy in Tajikistan, Bactria was established in 2001 and regularly holds exhibitions, different contests, concerts, seminars, conferences and organizes language courses.

Literature corners of the UK, Germany, Iran and Turkey exist in the center.

Azerbaijan Embassy in Tajikistan has presented different printing materials, books and booklets on Tajik, Russian and English languages printed by the embassy in 2011 in Dushanbe.

The materials featured national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity, internal and foreign policy of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, books printed by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva`s activity, history of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and occupation policy of Armenia.

Books by academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, Professor Ali Hasanov, works by Azeri poets and writers were also among the books.
