Baku-Batumi daily flights to be launched
Tbilisi, May 14, AZERTAC
“Today, bilateral political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia are rapidly developing, a fact confirmed by the growing trade turnover. Last year, bilateral trade reached $300 million. One of the key issues is the rational management of tourist flows. Currently, two flights are operated in the Baku-Batumi direction per week, and starting from June, flights will be operated daily,” said Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, at the meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev and the Consul General in Batumi Fuad Azizov.
The meeting focused on prospects for deepening the existing bilateral partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, as well as all current issues on the agenda.
The meeting was attended by Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Tsintsadze.
