Baku hosts COP10 Bureau’s second official meeting

The second official meeting of the Bureau of the Tenth Session of the Conference of Parties (COP10) to UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport, chaired by Farid Gayibov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports, was held in Baku, on July 2.
Representatives of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and the Ad Hoc European Committee for the World Anti-Doping Agency (CAHAMA), as well as members of the observer states and other vice-presidents of the Bureau attended the meeting in an online format.
The meeting heard remarks by Gustavo Merino, UNESCO Director for Social Policies and Inclusion; Luke McCann, Chairperson of UNESCO Anti-Doping Fund Approval Committee; and Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Farid Gayibov.
