BAKU HOSTS MEETING OF IDB BOARD OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
Baku, June 20 (AZERTAC). The 268th meeting of the Islamic Development Bank`s Board of Executive Directors presided over by IDB President Ahmed Mohammad Ali started here on Sunday.
The gratitude was expressed to President Ilham Aliyev, people and government of Azerbaijan for hosting the 35th meeting of the IDB Board of Governors.
The agenda of the meeting include strategic partnership with IDB new member countries, in particular partnership agreement signed with Turkey.
The participants discussed report on implementation of the IDB Group Reform Program, on execution of the Jeddah declaration adopted by the IDB Board of Governors in 2008.
The Board of Executive Directors discussed the work done to hold the 35th meeting of the IDB Board of Governors
Also discussions revolved around administrative and technical issues, funding of new development projects in a number of member countries.
Baku also hosted meetings of the Islamic Corporation of Development of the Private Sector, International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation, Islamic Corporation for Insurance of investment and Export Credit, Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development
