Baku Slavonic University marks 100th anniversary of political figure Nasir Imanguliyev
Baku, December 23 (AZERTAC). The 100th anniversary of the political figure, honored journalist, professor Nasir Imanguliyev was marked in the Baku Slavonic University.
Dean of the journalism faculty Safar Mammadov told of life, scientific activity and merits of Azerbaijani figure in the press. He said professor Imanguliyev devoted his life to Azerbaijani press, development of culture, dissemination of the truth news and training of the highly-qualified journalists.
Docent of BSU Etibar Babayev said Nasir Imanguliyev was an example for today`s journalists. He said professor Imanguliyev was an editor-in-chief of the “Baki” and “Baku” newspapers, which were very popular not only in Azerbaijan but whole the post Soviet Union.
The participants of the event told of Nasir Imanguliyev`s many-sided activity.
