“Caspian dialogue-2011” economic forum underway in Moscow
Moscow, April 18 (AZERTAC). A two-day international economic forum "The Caspian dialogue - 2011", organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Ministry for Protection of Environment and Natural Resources, Commercial and Industrial Chamber and the Russian Academy of Sciences opened in World Trade Center here. Representatives of the government, diplomats, scientists and experts from the Caspian littoral countries, including Azerbaijan, the CIS and Europe take part in the Forum.
One of main objectives of carrying out of the Forum is consolidation of efforts on expansion of mutually advantageous cooperation in the Caspian region. Discussion of policy of the states of region in sphere of mineral-sources and legal status of Caspian Sea, and also discussion of questions of development of the transport infrastructure of region, building of power effective houses, use of information technology, development of fishery and biodiversity restoration became the central theme of the Forum.
There will be held a separate Caspian energy forum (Fourth) “Energy of Caspian Sea – Energy of the World”, participants of which will discuss questions of the organization of search, production and deliveries of hydrocarbons and the electric power from region, and also joint projects in this area. Several plenary sessions (“The Caspian dialogue - way to economic stability and prosperity in region”, “The Mineral-raw material base of the Caspian Sea - potential of the international economic and innovative cooperation”", and also sessions "Bio-resources and ecology of the Caspian Sea", "Designing and building. Caspian measurement", "Infrastructural and transport potential of the Caspian region", "Information systems and new technologies of communication in complex monitoring of the Caspian region") will be held in the frame of Forum.
