CEC Chairman: 2794 observers registered for parliamentary elections so far
Baku, July 27, AZERTAC
“To date, 2794 observers have been registered by Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) to monitor the snap parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1, 2024,” CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov said at a meeting held on Saturday.
“126 of the observers represent the New Azerbaijan Party and 569 of them non-governmental organizations, while 1867 observers were registered on their own initiative,” the CEC chief added.
