COE OBSERVATION MISSION ARRIVES IN AZERBAIJAN
Members of mission of pre-election supervision of Special Committee of the Council of Europe have arrived in Baku for studying the conditions of preparation for by-elections forthcoming on May 13 to the Milli Majlis of Republic. The head of mission Leo Platvoet will arrive in Baku on April 27.
Chairman of the International Relations and Inter-parliamentary Links Standing Committee of Milli Majlis, the head of delegation of Azerbaijan at PACE Samad Seyidov has told, that visitors will familiarize with the condition of preparation for by-elections forthcoming on May 13, will visit a number of constituencies and lead various meetings. Observers, who, up to the end will trace the course of by-elections, will prepare then a final report. This report will be discussed at summer session of PACE.
