Day of Azerbaijan to be held in Uzbekistan

Baku, September 10 (AZERTAC). A Day of Azerbaijan will be held at the Center of national art in Tashkent on 16 September 2011, to mark the 20th anniversary of the country’s independence.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan and Fund Foundation are organizers of the event. The program includes art and theme exhibitions, as well as concerts dedicated to rich traditions of Azeri culture.

Foundation Forum said that the exhibition would open on 16 September and it will present images, print products and exhibits, reflecting modern development of Azerbaijan. It is planned to hold a concert of traditional, classical and pop music of Azerbaijan.

At the same time, it is scheduled to hold exhibition of traditional and modern culture of Azerbaijan, including carpets, musical instruments and paintings of Azerbaijan’s Sattar Bahlulzade.
