Deputy Prime Minister: Qatar is interested in comprehensive cooperation with Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Somalia in Doha.
The sides discussed various issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda, including the increasing joint efforts in trade and investment spheres.
FM Mammadyarov highlighted the transport and communication projects implemented upon the initiative and with the participation of Azerbaijan. They exchanged views on the prospects of benefiting from these opportunities for Qatar.
Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani noted that his country is interested in comprehensive cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The sides also discussed other regional issues of mutual interest.
