Egyptian embassy in Baku organizes reception to mark country`s national holiday
Baku, July 18 (AZERTAC). The Embassy of Egypt in Azerbaijan organized Monday an official reception to mark the country`s public holiday - Revolution Day.
Opening the event, ambassador Sabir Abdulgadir Mansur briefed the participants on the history of the Revolution Day.
Touching upon relationship between Azerbaijan and Egypt, the ambassador said it is developing successfully in political, economic and humanitarian areas.
The diplomat noted relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt would continue to serve interests of the two countries` peoples.
Attending the event, Azerbaijan`s Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev congratulated the Egyptian people on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev.
The Minister said cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt had long history.
Mustafayev pointed out the two countries had signed several documents which constitute legal basis for expansion of bilateral economic cooperation.
He underlined high-level reciprocal visits contribute to boosting ties between the two countries as well.
The event was attended by officials and foreign ambassadors accredited in Baku.
