Emin Agalarov signed contract with Emi
Baku, September 13 (AZERTAC). Emin has signed a global licencing deal with EMI Music Germany for his first international album `Wonder`. The three-album deal secures release options for all other global territories with EMI, except for the UK and Ireland, where `Wonder` was developed and has been released by independent record label, Saffron Music Ltd.
To mark the occasion, Emin performed two of his UK hit songs, `Obvious` and `Just For One Night` at EMI Music`s `Partners` Conference`.
Held at EMI`s impressive in-house live venue in Cologne, the audience consisted of around 270 leading players in German retail, press, TV and radio.
Commenting on the deal, Emin said: “It is a dream coming true for my music to have been discovered by EMI. Signing with a major label means working with a major team who has experience in working with famous artists. This gives my music the best possible chance of reaching new audiences across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and beyond!”
The signing of the contract was attended by Uli Mueke, the CEO of EMI Music Germany and Wolfgang Hanebrink, the Chairman, as well as the senior executives from Emin`s international management and UK record label.
“I couldn`t be happier and signing to EMI is a tremendous confidence booster for everyone involved in my music” said Emin.
