Facebook`s co-founder launches new social network

Baku, December 1 (AZERTAC). One of the founders of the popular social networking site Facebook, Chris Hughes has created his own web project called Jumo. New social network aims at creating a link between the concerned organizations with investors that are engaged in charitable and social projects.

In this case, Hughes says that the new resource is created for `extortion` of donations, but also allow people to actively discuss what they are interested in. It will enable users to create their own pages and leave comments. More than 3 thousands of topics and groups have already been created on the pages of the site. The site is integrated with other popular portals such as Twitter, YouTube and Facebook. However, the founder of the project said that Jumo would not compete with Facebook.

Currently the site functions in beta version at jumo.com and has more than 3.5 thousand accounts.
