FAILED TO SMUGGLE CIGARETTES FROM IRAN TO AZERBAIJAN
As AzerTAj was informed in the press service of the State Customs Committee, during the check at the Astara customs point, 1300 boxes of foreign cigarettes of various trademarks were discovered in the cache of the “Mercedes” bus coming to Azerbaijan and operated by a citizen of Iran Hudadat Mansurbaht Ali oglu.
In the result of operation of the Astara customs officers and regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Southern region, 257 grams of drugs - dried poppy were discovered in the apartment of the inhabitant of Germetuk village of Lankaran region of Azerbaijan Nigar Tariverdiyeva.
The investigation has been launched on these facts.
