First vice-president of SOCAR meets members of European Parliament

Baku, December 12 (AZERTAC). The first vice-president of Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR), academician Khoshbakht Yusifzade met members of the European Parliament.

Mr. Yusifzade said the relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union were rapidly developing. The academician updated the guests on history of Azerbaijan`s oil industry, exploration and development of the oil and gas fields, successful realization of the oil strategy and large-scale projects being implemented in this area. He informed about transportation of Azerbaijani hydrocarbons via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Supsa and Baku-Novorossysk oil pipelines and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum, Mozdok-Gazimammad, Gazimammad-Rasht and Gazimammad-Gazakh gas pipelines. Mr. Yusifzade told of projects being implemented by SOCAR in the country and abroad.
