FM MAMMADYAROV MEETS SOUTH KOREA'S MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
The Korean minister reminded establishment of mutual diplomatic representations and Mammadyarov’s visit to Seoul. They expressed confidence for successful results of the negotiations between the Presidents of two countries, and activation of bilateral relations.
The visit of the Korean President will give impulse to expansion of bilateral ties, FM of Azerbaijan underlined.
Mr. Pan Ki-mun congratulated his Azeri counterpart on Azerbaijan’s election as a member to the UN Human Rights Council, stressed necessity of coordination of activity within the UN structures. He marked importance of bilateral cooperation in the energy, transport, construction, medicine, technology and other fields.
In the meeting, also focused were reforms within the United Nations, improvement of Organization’s structures, and other questions of mutual interest.
