Gabala hosts chamber and symphonic music concerts

Baku, July 26 (AZERTAC). Chamber music and “Viva opera” concerts were held on Monday as part of the 3rd Gabala International Music Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Music pieces by prominent Azerbaijan and European composers were performed in the concert.

The Orchestra played arias and duets from operas by Giuseppe Verdi, Georges Bizet, Vincenzo Bellini, Leo Delibes, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Fikrat Amirov, Francesco Cilea, Giacomo Puccini and Ruggero Leoncavallo.

The concert featured performance by pianists Kamala Neymanova, Nargiz Aliyarova, Gulnaz Ismayilova, Farida Mammadova, Sabina Asadova, Ulviyya Novruzova, Avaz Abdullayev, Azad Aliyev and Yusif Eyvazov .
