Gabala hosts New Russia Symphony Orchestra`s performance

Gabala, August 2 (AZERTAC). The New Russia Symphony Orchestra headed by Yuri Bashmet has given a concert as part of the 3rd Gabala International Music Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The concert featured “Italian Symphony” and concerto for Violin and Orchestra by Felix Mendelssohn, Werther`s aria from “Werther” opera by Jules Massenet, Figaro`s aria from “The Marriage of Figaro” by Wolfgang Mozart and Rodolfo and Marcello`s duet from “La bohème” by Giacomo Puccini.

Conducted by Italian Claudio Vandelli, the orchestra was accompanied by director of Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra Sergei Krylov (violin), student at Italy`s Opera Art International Academy after Debaldi and Monaco Javid Samadov (bariton) and student at Italy`s Ozino Music Academy Azer Rzazade (tenor).
