Gabala hosts three more concerts
Baku, July 29 (AZERTAC). Three more concerts were held as part of the 3rd Gabala International Music Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The first concert entitled “Fantasy”, held on Thursday, and featured music pieces by Azerbaijani composers Tofig Guliyev, Said Rustamov, Vasif Adigozalov and Uzeyir Hajibayov.
People`s Artist Ramiz Guliyev (tar, Azerbaijani national music instrument), Honorary Artist Kamala Neymatova (piano), soloist of the State Musical Comedy Theater Ramil Gasimov (tenor), Honorary Artist Gulnaz Ismayilova (soprano) performed in the concert.
The second concert featured performances by director of the State Philharmonic Hall, Honorary Artist Murad Adigozalzade (piano), honored academician of the UN International Arts Academy, professor of the Juliana Music Academy of the United States Oksana Yablonskaya, founder of the UK`s Schubert Ensemble Simon Blendis (violin), leading musician of US`s Symphonic Orchestra Bayerischen Rundfunks Eric Terwilliger (horn), soloist of the UK`s National Opera and London Symphionetta Timothy Jill (violoncello).
The musicians played music pieces by European composers Johannes Brahms and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
Soloist of Latvian National Symphonic Orchestra (LNSO) Raimonds Ozols performed 12 music pieces by European composers in the open area.
