GUAM Warsaw Statement on prospects for cooperation and European integration signed
Baku, October 1 (AZERTAC). The 15th meeting of GUAM Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs (CMFA) was held on the sidelines of Eastern Partnership Summit in Warsaw, Poland. A Warsaw Statement on prospects for cooperation and European integration was signed as an outcome of the meeting.
The GUAM CMFA meeting was attended by Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Thornike Gordadze, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Iurie Leanca, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantin Gryshchenko and GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili.
The meeting discussed further deepening of regional cooperation, growth of trade turnover among the countries, priority directions of mutual relations and prospects for cooperation with European Union.
GUAM Action Plan to enhance sectoral cooperation was also approved.
