IDB to bolster Azeri students in Georgia

Baku, October 12 (AZERTAC). A meeting with represenatives of Islamic Development Bank took place at the Georgian Azerbaijanis Culture Center in Marneuli. The meeting was held in Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Marneuli, Georgia.

The discussion focused on new projects providing for assistance to Azerbaijani students in Georgia.

Chief of the education department of IDB Malik Shah bin Yusif announced that the aim of the IDB is to learn about problems of Muslim students. The assistance will be rendered in the form of a student loan.

The officials of the bank also held meetings with the governor of Kvemo kartli-Borchali region and employees of the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science.
