INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “CEM/CLEANEXPO-2006” OPENED IN BAKU

The 2nd Azerbaijan International exhibitions of Consumer Electronics and Household Appliances and Cleaning and Hygienic facilities “CEM/CleanExpo-2006” opened May 11 in Baku at the Heydar Aliyev Sport- Concert Complex. The exhibition will be organized by the ITE Group plc company and its exclusive partner in South Caucasus Iteca Caspian.

Deputy director of the Iteca Caspian Bahruz Hidayetzade reported that this is the first specialized exhibition of this kind in the Caucasus region. About 30 companies from five countries of the world are involved in the event.

Vice president of Azerbaijan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mehman Ahmedov said these exhibitions help to develop the economy of Azerbaijan, create good trade environment and competition, gain access for local goods in the world markets and start joint companies.

Azerbaijani “Star Ltd”, “Rone Caspian ILD”, “Venus” companies are participating in the exhibition along with Germany’s Koblenz, Bork, Czech Republic’s Primus, Russia’s Bemz, Hyundai Electronics, Vyazma and Turkey’s Kale Kimya, Naturel Ocak. The exhibition will be completed on May 13.
