An int’l forum, “Customs policy as a mean of foreign investments attraction”, with the participation of the representatives of customs services of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Russia, US Embassy, main companies-investors functioning on the littoral Caspian states, heads of the territorial customs department was held in Kazakhstan.

Role of the customs policy in attraction of foreign investments in the littoral Caspian countries was discussed, as well as speeches of the representatives of customs services, businesspersons held.

Head of the department of State Customs Committee Guloglan Muradov, attending the international forum on the invitation of Customs Control Agency of Kazakhstan made a report on subject “Role of customs policy in attraction of the foreign investments”. He stated that up to now, approximately $ 15 bln was invested in Azerbaijan and within three years, another $ 10 bln is planning to invest. He stressed that signing large-scale agreements, high interest and trust of transnational corporations and financial organizations of world to Azerbaijan became possible due to successive, expedient policy of Azerbaijan leadership.
