International journal marks 90th jubilee of Lotfi A.Zadeh
Baku, February 4 (AZERTAC). A international “Applied and Computational Mathematics” journal`s special edition titled “Fuzzy Set Theory and Applications” has recently come out to mark the 90th birthday anniversary of Lotfi A. Zadeh, outstanding mathematician, electrical engineer, computer scientist, and a professor of computer science at the University of California, Berkeley, founder of Fuzzy Mathematics, fuzzy set theory, and fuzzy logic.
The edition featured 14 articles on fuzzy set theory by world famous scientists.
The journal starts with an article of Lotfi A. Zadeh under the title “My life and creative activity - retrospective glance”.
The journal was founded in 2002 by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, Natinoal Academy of Sciences, Research Institute of Applied Math of the Baku State University.
