INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL SYMPOSIUM OPENED
International Medical Symposium, dedicated to the problems of haematology, oncology and marrow transplantation, started its work in the Europe grand-hotel in Baku. The event has been organized by the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and the Turkish Marrow Transplantation Society. The symposium is being attended by Turkish and Azerbaijani scholars.
Health Minister Ali Insanov made an introductory speech at the opening ceremony of the symposium. The participants noted that cardiovascular abnormalities and oncology diseases are the main death causes all over the world. Cancerous growth is detected with 600 thousand people yearly. Therefore, unde rthses circumstances, the coordination of efforts of world scholars is urgent.
The symposium will last until August 30.
