INT’L EURASIAN CONGRESS OF SURGEONS & GASTROENTEROLOGISTS LAUNCHED IN BAKU

The 9th International Eurasian Congress of Surgeons & Gastroenterologists, which brought together physicians of 15 countries commenced May 15 in Baku.

Prior to the event, congress participants visited Alley of Honors and Martyrs’ Alley to revere memory of the nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and victims.

Welcoming the participants, Sanan Karimov, Deputy Minister of Health told on history of development of Azerbaijan health.

Hasan Ozkan, Chairman of the Eurasian Gastroenterology Society /Turkey/, academician Beyukkishi Agayev, Javad Heyat, eminent scientist and publicist delivered speeches.

The congress to end May 18 will focus on the topical problems of surgery and gastroenterology.
