Azerbaijan, World Bank review cooperation in financial access and transport

Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Finance Anar Karimov met with a World Bank delegation led by Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus.
The meeting reviewed the outcomes of the World Bank’s FINGROW and transport missions, future cooperation, and ways to strengthen coordination on project preparation and implementation.
Anar Karimov highlighted opportunities to expand cooperation in financial access, private-sector financing and transport infrastructure.
Rolande Pryce expressed the World Bank’s readiness to provide financial and technical support for relevant initiatives.
The sides agreed on the importance of continued cooperation and stronger coordination.
