JBIC TO EXPAND TIES WITH AZERBAIJAN
In the meeting, discussed were proposals of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) on concrete spheres.
The Bank’s representatives disclosed their intention to cooperate in the frame of development of vocational education project. As informed, appropriate documents have been prepared and submitted to the Government, and concrete discussions are underway.
The visitors interested in the works done in connection with the “State program of the Azerbaijan Republic on socio-economic development of regions”, expressing desire to cooperate with Azerbaijan also in improvement of water system in regions. As was stated, currently they are studying the situation in this field.
Interested in preparation of the poverty reduction program, the Japanese bankers were offered to cooperate and in this field, which was accepted. They expressed intention to cooperate in energy field, too.
Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan appraised intention of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation and said the Ministry stands ready to render any assistance.
