KamAZ trucks to be assembled in Azerbaijan

KamAZ trucks will be assembled in Ganja. Azerbaijan’s Ganja Automobile Plant and “KamAZ” Open Joint Stock Company plant signed several agreements on assembly of cars in Azerbaijan.
According to the company's website, one of the agreements envisages the provision of spare parts for the assembly of vehicles in Azerbaijani plants. Ganja Automobile Plant and KamAZ plant signed a license agreement on the right to assemble KamAZ-43114, 4326, 43118, 65115, 65117, and 6520 models.
Before the signing of agreements, delegation of Ganja Automobile Plant visited “KamAZ”. Delegation of Plant within several days became acquainted with the production capacity in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and discussed the issues on organizing of assembly of “KamAZ” cars in Azerbaijan.
Technical service, warranty and post warranty period of terms conditions worked out. All of them are expected to be held in Baku.
Assembling of KamAZ trucks in Azerbaijan is expected to start in the first half of next year.
Volume production will be set the next few days.
