Keel for two Azerbaijan`s ferries laid in Croatia

Baku, November 28 (AZERTAC). The delegation of the Caspian Shipping Company led by its chief Aydin Bashirov attended the keel laying ceremony of two ferries to be built by the Croatia`s Uljanik shipyard.

Speaking at the ceremony, Bashirov said restoration of bilateral cooperation is the result of the policy of the heads of state to develop Azerbaijan-Croatia relations. He pointed out President Ilham Aliyev pays special attention to the transport sector includni9g the sea transport.

Azerbaijan and Croatia signed earlier in May the contract on construction of ferries. The Azerbaijani side was scheduled to receive two vessels in October and reserves the right to request three more ships.
