Kenya benefits from Azerbaijan’s demining experience

As part of its visit to Azerbaijan, a delegation led by Charles Lenjo Mwazighe, Director of the Kenya-based International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC), toured ANAMA’s Goygol Training Centre and the Aghdam district.
Charles Lenjo Mwazighe noted that IPSTC attaches great importance to regional and international cooperation, focusing on the development of new training programs within interstate partnerships, the implementation of joint projects, and the promotion of mutual exchange of experience.
The main goal of the visit was to benefit from Azerbaijan’s demining experience, training capabilities, and demining operations carried out in the liberated territories.
The delegation first visited ANAMA’s Goygol Training Centre. The guests were briefed on personnel training in mine action, training infrastructure, and the organization of professional training for specialists.
As part of the visit, the delegation also familiarized itself with demining operations carried out in the Aghdam district.
