MEETING OF DELEGATIONS OF AZERBAIJAN AND KAZAKHSTAN IN BROADENED FORMAT
Having greeting the Head of Azerbaijan and accompanying delegation, President Nursultan Nazarbayev described this visit as very successful and useful, and said relations with Azerbaijan are of great importance for Kazakhstan. He noted that the visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev would play a great role from this standpoint. “We want to develop cooperation in Azerbaijan in political, economic, cultural and other spheres,” he said. The Kazakh leader pointed out successful cooperation between the two countries within the frameworks of the United Nations, CIS, Organization Islamic Conference, as well as mutual understanding as of the international issues.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev thanked President Nursultan Nazarbayev for the hospitality, and noted that development of bilateral relationship fully meets the interests of the two peoples. “I am confident that the existing relations friendship and brotherhood will be further developed and strengthened,” the Azerbaijan President said. The Head of our state stressed as well the full mutual understanding between the two countries on the Caspian Sea Status is a great achievement, and Azerbaijan will be really beneficial and safety place to deliver Kazakh hydrocarbon resources to Europe, the world market.
During the meeting, the parties have also exchange views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
