Members of ruling Democratic Liberal Party of Romania visit ANAS
Baku, July 13 (AZERTAC). A delegation of the ruling Democratic Liberal Party of Romania has today visited the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
In the meeting with Romanian delegation, ANAS President Mahmud Karimov highlighted existence of close relations between the two countries` Academies. “The cooperation will further develop,” he added.
ANAS President also briefed the guests on the activity of the facility.
Mayor of Bucharest`s Sector 2 and vice-president of Romanian Municipalities Association Nekulay Ontsanu praised economic, political, cultural ties between the two countries. “Romania supports Azerbaijan`s position in all international events. This is an evidence of close friendship between the sides. We familiarized ourselves with the projects in your country and Azerbaijan`s successes please us”, he added.
Speaking in the meeting, representatives of the Romanian Academy of Sciences noted they pay a great attention to the cooperation with Azerbaijani scientists.
