Mexico hosts Azerbaijani and Turkish cooking Festival
Mexico, October 13 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani and Turkish chefs have come together in the Mexico City to promote their national cuisine.
The Azerbaijani and Turkish cooking festival took place in the Nikko Mexico hotel, whose menu will be enriched with Azeri national meals, sweets and drinks after the show.
The festival has been in the spotlight, with the country`s leading newspapers, including Reforma, Millenio and The News highlighting the show`s features.
Azerbaijani and Turkish ambassadors to Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov and Alev Kilic were among the participants in the festival whose program also envisages the performance of masterpieces by Azeri composers Uzeyir Hajibayli, Gara Garayev and Fikrat Amirov. The festival will also feature the demonstration of documentary films about Azerbaijan and the showcase of national dresses.
