MILLI MAJLIS PASSES THE DRAFT LAW “ON ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE AND ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT”

The draft Law “On Electronic Signature and Electronic Document” was discussed in the third reading at the Milli Majlis March 9 meeting. Chairman of the MM Standing Commission on Science and Education Shakhlar Asgarov told AzerTAj correspondent that a number of remarks and proposals related to the draft Law had been put forward during the previous session debate over the document. Having analyzed the references and proposals, the working group has taken into account some of them following one more wide discussion with experts. Therefore, the draft law defines organizational and legal bases for use of the electronic signature and electronic document, their use in electronic document’s circulation and rights of appropriate parties, and regulates their relationship.

The draft Law has been passed after discussion.

Afterwards, the MM deputies expressed their opinions on the draft on supplements and amendments to several legislative acts.
