MODEL LAW ON HEALTH CARE TO BE DEVELOPED ON THE CIS SPACE

Adoption of the model law is of great importance for mutual solution of health problems in the CIS member-countries. Member of the Milli Majlis Permanent commission on Social Policy Vasadat Azizov tols AzerTaj this issue would be widely discussed at the session of the Committee on Health and Social Issues of CIS Parliament Assembly to be held in the near future in Saint Petersburg.

In accordance with recommendations of the World Health Organization, every state develops laws for itself. However, mechanism of the laws acting on CIS space is absent. In addition, these laws are developed in accordance with the national peculiarities of states and this creates a number of obstacles. Health is such a sphere where you should approach the problem globally. That is why the Parliamentary Assembly has made a decision on adoption of the model law. A delegation of Azerbaijan will introduce their suggestions on the model law on health.
