MONITORING OF YOUTH RESOURCES CENTERS OF AZERBAIJAN HELD

First stage of a 3-day monitoring of Youth Resources Centers of Azerbaijan /YRC/ organized jointly by UNICEF and Azerbaijan Ministry of Education was held at the Baku International Youth Tourism Center, on August 12.

Aim of the arrangement, attended by children and teenagers from 18 centers of youth resources, as well as members of Azerbaijan Youth Union take part, is to approve the general plan of actions of the centers all over the country, also familiarize with the new inquirers, Chairman of AYU informed AzerTAj correspondent.

To increase activity of the Youth Resources Centers, UNICEF has already allocated a large number of computers, video equipment, cameras and accessories boosting up ability of the children.

On conclusion of the monitoring, poll of teenagers will be conducted in 18 regions of the Republic to determine the level of success of the regional YRC activities.
