Baku, December 11, AZERTAC
“Azerbaijan will cut its oil output by 35,000 barrels per day,” said Azerbaijan`s Energy Minister Natig Aliyev as he commented on the results of OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting in Vienna.
Natig Aliyev noted that OPEC and non-OPEC producers reached the deal to curtail oil output jointly.
“The 11 non-OPEC countries agreed to reduce their output by 558,000 bpd. Azerbaijan will slash its oil output by 35,000 barrels per day. Russia will cut 300,000 bpd,” the Energy Minister said.
“OPEC member countries and countries outside the cartel agreed to meet regularly to ensure the continued oil market price stability,” Natig Aliyev added.
