NATO SECRETARY GENERAL HIGHLY ASSESSED ACTIVITY OF AZERBAIJAN MILITARIES
As stated, in the meeting passed in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and sincerity, ahead of the Istanbul Summit of NATO, were exchanged views on the current state and prospect of cooperation between NATO and Azerbaijan in the frame of PfP that dynamically develops and deepens day by day.
Secretary General of NATO noted that Azerbaijan is an important and reliable partner in cooperation in the frame of PfP Program, gave a high assessment to the activity of Azerbaijani military contingent in Cosovo and Afghanistan.
Noting that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with the Alliance, Ambassador Mirhamza Efendiyev said that this cooperation would expand and deepen in the years ahead.
In the course of meeting, also were focused issues of expansion of PfP Program, the future role of NATO in the South Caucasus and place of Azerbaijan in this context and others.
