Number of countries to participate in Eurovision 2012 reached 29
Baku, August 12 (AZERTAC). Another four countries - Spain, France, Greece and Bosnia-Herzegovina - have confirmed their participation in Eurovision 2012 song contest to be held in Baku.
Thus, the number of countries to join Eurovision 2012 reached 29 with Azerbaijan, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Armenia, Finland, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Israel, Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Georgia, Hungary, Nederland, Norway, Croatia, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia and Slovenia.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2012 will be the 57th annual Eurovision Song Contest. It will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, following Azerbaijan`s win in the 2011 Contest with Ell & Nikki`s song “Running Scared”.
The preliminary dates set for the two semi-finals are 22 May and 24 May 2012, with the final planned for the evening of 26 May 2012, in Azerbaijan.
