PASHA Bank holds seminar on “Azerbaijan: Beyond oil & gas” in London
Baku, November 21 (AZERTAC). PASHA Bank has conducted a seminar titled "Azerbaijan: Beyond of oil & gas" in London.
The Bank informs that the speakers` presentations and discussion between the invited experts enabled the seminar participants to understand the real picture of the investment climate in Azerbaijan, and clearly demonstrate the growth and potential of the non-oil sector of the economy.
Presentations at the event were delivered by PASHA Bank`s chairman of board Farid Akhundov, head of the Azerbaijani branch of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Nick McCain, Atropatena`s CEO Elshad Rasulov, GoldenPay`s founder and head Farid Ismailzade, AsiaHouse`s CEO Michael Lawrence.
The speakers shared their professional opinion on opportunities outside the oil sector of Azerbaijan and answered a number of questions from the audience. The event ended with a memorable speech of Charles Hendry, a Member of Parliament and trade envoy of the UK Prime Minister, about the potential of the non-oil sector and cooperation between the two countries.
The seminar brought together financiers, investors, private bankers, law firms and other representatives of the European business community who are interested in business opportunities in Azerbaijan, as well as leading media organizations.
