POPULATION INVEST IN HOUSING

The annual growth of population’s incomes in Azerbaijan allows directing more funds to tackling the problems of citizens. According to the official statistics, 70% of living quarters, put into operation within 7 months of 2003, have been constructed at the personal expenses of the population, State Committee on Construction and Architecture reports. Forty percent falls to the share of provinces and villages.

Altogether, 2659 families have moved to new apartments constructed at their own expenses.
