PRESIDENT AWARDS VICE-PREMIER ABBAS ABBASOV WITH “ISTIGLAL” ORDER

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on 19 May at President Palace has awarded former First Vice-Premier of Republic Abbas Abbasov with the highest order of country - “Istiglal” Order.

The Head of State gave high assessment to activity of Abbas Abbasov, who has been worked at this post some 14 years, which were decisive period in life of the Republic. And in these Mr. Abbasov has made great contributions to development of economy and served trustworthy, the President noted.

He reminded that the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev also appraised his activity.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked Abbas Abbasov for trustful work and wished success in his future life.
