President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Sabirabad District on a visit.
The head of state attended the opening of several infrastructure and social facilities.
President Ilham Aliyev first laid flowers at a statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city`s central square.
Head of the District Executive Authority Nazim Ismayilov informed the head of state about the landscaping work carried out in the square.

Then President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of Nizami-Alilambayli-Azadkand-Sarkhanbayli highway.
The head of state was informed about the technical and economic indicators of the highway. It was noted that the state-of-the-art highway connects 12 residential areas with the population of 22,000 people. The 46km-long road has 36 aqueducts. There are nearly 900 traffic signs and signal mounts, as well as 12 stations along the facility.
The Azerbaijani President cut the ribbon symbolizing the official inauguration of the highway.

President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the Cultural House in the city of Sabirabad after major overhaul.
It was noted that the two-storey building was renovated at the highest level and in a modern style. All conditions have been created at a 377-seat conference hall of the facility for holding various events. The Cultural House has a rich book collection, a reading room and a 20-seat conference hall.

President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a kindergarten, the construction of which was initiated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the official inauguration of the kindergarten.
The President was informed that all conditions have been created at the 100-seat facility for training and education of children. Eighty children aged 3 to 6 years will be educated in four groups in the kindergarten. Special attention was paid to ensuring intellectual, physical and mental development of children, discovering their talents and abilities.

President Ilham Aliyev attended a ceremony to start supply of drinking water to the city of Sabirabad.
Head of the "Azersu" OJSC Gorkhmaz Huseynov informed the head of state that taking into account the future development until 2030, a 62 km-long main water pipeline was constructed from the Kur water treatment plants, under this project designed to improve the water supply of more than 50, 000 people in the city of Sabirabad, Galagayin, Sugovushan, Kurkand, Asadli, Bulagli, Balakand villages. As a continuation of the project, a135 km-long sewerage system and a wastewater treatment facility will be constructed in the city of Sabirabad.
President Ilham Aliyev met local residents.
The head of state noted that the large-scale work has been done to settle drinking water problem. The President stressed that the drinking water project in Sabirabad confirms the continuous implementation of these works. President Ilham Aliyev congratulated residents with the completion of the project, which will provide the cities of Sabirabad and Saatli and 40 villages of these districts with quality drinking water.
The head of state said the social issues were the main priority in the country, and hailed the ongoing social work in Sabirabad.
The President said the government would continue to support the implementation of all social projects.

Then President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of “ASAN xidmət” center of Sabirabad branch of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the official inauguration of the facility.
It was noted that the construction of the four-storey building was completed in accordance with the highest standards. All conditions have been created at a children's auto-town in the yard in order to teach the kids traffic rules and signs.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the “ASAN xidmət” center will serve 900,000 residents of Sabirabad, Saatli, Imishli, Kurdamir, Hajigabul, Salyan, Beylagan districts, as well as the city of Shirvan. The application of "ASAN ödəniş" has already begun. Work will start in the near future to install payment terminals in public places.
President Ilham Aliyev was also informed about "Google glass" biometric recognition system.
It was emphasized that for the first time "ASAN хidmət" started implementation of a miniature tropical forest project, which provides clean air in the building.
The head of state familiarized himself with the conditions created in "ASAN хidmət" buses. Fitted with the cutting-edge server and network equipment, these mobile buses served the population of 30 districts in 2014. "ASAN хidmət" buses received more 59,000 appeals, with almost 90 percent of them provided.
It was noted that the center has a 50-car parking lot.
