PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVED PREMIER OF ROMANIA
In the friendly and warm meeting, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of the international conference to be held on 19 March, spoke in detail of the steps Azerbaijan makes for integration to the European structures.
In the course of meeting, it was stated that there has been established close and friendly cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania. Both countries have many cooperation projects and programs and they are successfully being realized. Cooperation in the frame of international organizations is also high level. Romania is keen in the large-scale oil and gas projects Azerbaijan implements, including in the oil-gas projects on transportation of them to Europe, and intends to join them.
The parties stressed necessity of increasing of the efforts to develop the existing friendly and cooperation relations in the years coming.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev and Premier Adrian Nestase had a comprehensive exchange of views on new projects for further strengthening of economic links between the two countries.
