PRESS SERVICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN
The session focused the issues of socio-political situation in the country after the 15 October presidential elections, mass disorder caused by some parties in Baku, and the tasks connected with ensuring life and security of the Country’s citizens.
In their remarks, heads of the law-enforcement bodies of the Republic and other members of the Council updated on the situation of the last days and on the undertaken measures.
Summing up session of the Security Council, Prime Minister Ilham Aliyev gave appropriate instructions to the heads of relevant state bodies to remove the tension in the city of Baku, ensure public order, safety of the citizens, and restore regular work of the objects of vital significance.
