PRINCE MICHAEL OF KENT TO CONTRIBUTE TO AZERBAIJAN-UK COOPERATION
Welcoming the guest, the Minister expressed hope that the visit of such a distinguished guest would promote further development of the Azerbaijan-UK cooperation, and thanked both Embassies for organization of the visit.
Prince Michael of Kent noted that he first met Minister Abulfaz Garayev at the trade exhibition opened during the official visit of President Heydar Aliyev to London 10 years ago, and expressed is intention to make his little contribution to development of bilateral relations.
Prince Michael said that one of the main the goals of the visit was to be closely acquainted with the capital of Azerbaijan, its regions, and especially to visit Guba that he described as his old dream.
Present at the meeting were Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Great Britain Rafael Ibrahimov, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Azerbaijan Laurence Bristow.
